      <title>Reason for Retraction</title>
<p>This is a retraction notice. VIEW THE RETRACTED ARTICLE (<ext-link xlink:href="https://doi.org/10.14302/issn.2998-4211.jalr-24-4926" ext-link-type="uri">https://doi.org/10.14302/issn.2998-4211.jalr-24-4926</ext-link>), which was published on 16 April 2024</p>
<p>This notice is issued by the Editor-in-Chief on behalf of the Journal of Alzheimer’s Research and Therapy (Open Access Pub).</p>
<p>Citation of retracted article: Faiza Bahadur Khan; Alireza Abedi; Andrea Olamide Bukola Ogunleye; Tamar Goderidze; Siavash Hosseinpour Chermahini (2024). A Microglia Initiated Target Therapy in Neuroinflammation for Alzheimer’s Patients. Journal of Alzheimer’s Research and Therapy 1(2):1–24. DOI: 10.14302/issn.2998-4211.jalr-24-4926. Published: 16 April 2024.</p>
<p>Reason for retraction: Following an editorial investigation, we confirmed redundant (duplicate) publication. A substantially similar article by the same authors was previously published in the Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Neurodisorders on 09 January 2024 (Received 25 Dec 2023; Accepted 04 Jan 2024): A Microglia Initiated Target Therapy in Neuroinflammation for Alzheimer’s Patients, Volume 2(1), pages 1–10. The earlier publication constitutes the version of record. The later OAP publication did not disclose prior publication or meet the criteria for acceptable secondary publication.</p>
<p>Process: The investigation followed COPE guidance for handling redundant publication. The corresponding author(s) and the editor of the other journal were notified and given the opportunity to respond prior to this decision. The Editor-in-Chief determined that retraction is required to correct the scholarly record.</p>
<p>Record status: The retracted article remains available to maintain the scholarly record and is clearly marked RETRACTED on the HTML and PDF. This notice links to the article, and the article links to this notice. The article’s open-license terms remain unchanged.<ext-link xlink:href="https://openaccesspub.org/alzheimers-research-and-therapy/article/2102" ext-link-type="uri"/></p>
<p>Approvals: Approved by the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Alzheimer’s Research and Therapy.</p>
      <p>Date of retraction: 20 March 2025. </p>
